Here is my take on a hotter Jaguar style pickup - The Hipster Bones!
 
These are designed to give you more punch than your standard Jag pickups, whilst maintaining fantastic clarity and responsivness to you guitars controls.
 
The Hipster Bones are over wound to give a higher output than on a traditional set of Jaguar pickups, but not so much that you lose too much top end. The AlNiCo 2 magnets give the pickups a slightly muted bottom end, but with a warm, full top end and full mids - overall this gives them a fantastic vintage voicing... albeit with more punch! This makes them perfect for indie/rock music.
